Since 1976, Anne Neison worked in the television production industry as an associate producer, assistant director, producer and, in 1985, established herself as a production manager for a nonprofit, educational film and video production company with a staff of five people. During that time Anne hired and managed hundreds of technical freelancers, including transcriptionists.

Working in the television production industry for so many years, Anne truly appreciates the importance of a deadline. If a program is scheduled to air, it must be delivered on time. Your transcript delivery deadline gets the same respect.

ypically, the further into a project, the less that’s left in the budget to wrap it up – and Anne became a pro at wearing many hats to get a project delivered. One critical job that was always getting the short end of the budget was transcriptions. While managing her pre-production, production, and post-production duties, Anne was also working every free moment doing the transcriptions that either needed an instant turnaround or the project’s budget simply couldn’t afford to pay a freelancer to do them.

In late 2005, Anne and her husband, who’s retired from law enforcement, decided to move away from the over-crowded metropolitan D.C. area and relocate to Lake Anna in mid-Virginia. AMN Transcriptions, LLC was born and Anne is now enjoying life as a freelancer doing some video production management work but, more and more, shifting her energies into full-time transcription work. As her client list grows, so does her incredibly competent and well educated, well-versed support team.

I've worked with Anne Neison for over twenty years. Her transcriptions are very precise, accurate, and extremely FAST! The transcription services I've used in Hollywood take much longer and cost much more -- and certainly aren't any better. I'd use and recommend Anne anytime.

I work in Hollywood and have access to all the transcription houses.
  I choose to work with Anne Neison because she's the best.
  The added bonus is she is the cheapest.
  Her technology is state of the art.
  I find her easier to work with than The Transcription Company here in Burbank, CA, who does the transcripts for ABC.
  The reason is whether I am in Davis, CA or Goteborg, Sweden she is fully plugged into the internet. I send her an MP3 she sends me back a Word doc.
  But what it really boils down to is, it's Anne! She is extremely conscientious. She does her homework on technical words that are used and makes sure names are spelled correctly.
